Why we built this
Most convolution reverbs are museums.
Most convolution reverbs are museums. A fixed set of real rooms, recorded once and played back faithfully. Their value is fidelity, being true to a place that exists.
Juic-C is built the other way round. Its spaces are designed rather than captured, modeled on how real spaces behave, but belonging to no real building. That sounds like a limitation. It’s the whole point.
Because Juic-C owns the model underneath each space, not just a finished recording, it can do what a captured reverb can’t. Play a space straight and it’s ordinary convolution. Keep its early reflections and grow a new tail behind them. Morph between two spaces and land somewhere between them. Or break a space into its parts and recombine them into a room that has no name because it has never existed. Its early reflections, how fast each frequency decays, the color of its materials, the density of its wash, each one is yours to move.
The modes run that arc, from the space played whole to the space fully decomposed. Convolution at the front, synthesis at the back, and the fact that none of these rooms are real is the reason you can take them apart.

These rooms are designed. Every space is built from scratch, which is what lets you get inside and change it. A recording is finished. You can play it, but you can’t reach in. A built space has parts, and Juic-C works on them.

Over 150 designed spaces across nine families, from a broom closet to a cathedral. Each one gets a final polish for tone, width and warmth, and a built-in ducker eases the reverb back when the part comes in.
Snapshots, across spaces
Snapshots save your whole setup, up to six of them, and bring any one back with a click. They remember the space and mode too, so you can jump from a huge cathedral to a tight plate in an instant. And they ride along with your project, right where you left them when you reopen it.
